Overview
Vision RT develops optical surface-guidance technologies for radiotherapy across the simulation, planning, treatment, and dose-verification workflow. Its systems use non-contact optical imaging and 3D surface reconstruction to support patient setup, intrafraction motion monitoring, respiratory management, stereotactic treatments, collision-aware planning, and real-time visualization of radiation delivery. The current portfolio includes SimRT™, MapRT®, AlignRT®, AlignRT InBore™, AlignRT Core, DoseRT™, and Horizon™ camera technology.
AlignRT® - Surface Guided Patient Positioning & Motion Management
Vision RT’s principal SGRT platform uses 3D stereo cameras and real-time six-degree-of-freedom monitoring to support patient setup and continuous intrafraction motion management. The system can automatically pause treatment when patient motion exceeds predefined tolerances and supports workflows including breast DIBH, thoracic and abdominal treatments, SRS/SBRT, and general radiotherapy positioning. Optional modules extend the platform for stereotactic treatments, respiratory management, automated ROI selection, patient coaching, beam visualization, and workflow integration.
AlignRT Core - Streamlined SGRT Platform
A tiered entry configuration of AlignRT designed for centres adopting SGRT. It provides optical surface-guided setup and active motion management using Vision RT’s established SGRT technology, while the flagship AlignRT platform offers the newer Horizon camera architecture and a broader range of advanced workflow modules.
AlignRT InBore™ - SGRT for Bore-Based Linacs
An SGRT system developed specifically for bore-based treatment machines, providing surface monitoring both outside and inside the treatment bore. It extends optical patient-position and motion monitoring to treatment platforms where conventional ceiling-mounted SGRT camera arrangements are not practical.
SimRT™ - Contactless 4DCT & Breath-Hold Monitoring
A CT-simulation platform for respiratory monitoring, 4DCT acquisition, and breath-hold workflows without physical respiratory surrogates. Optical surface tracking generates respiratory information for CT acquisition, while the optional Real Time Coach™ and PatientSide Module can provide visual feedback and therapist support during breath-hold coaching. SimRT is designed for compatibility with major CT simulator vendors.
MapRT® - Collision-Aware Treatment Planning
A dual-camera system that captures the patient, immobilization devices, and surrounding geometry during CT simulation to create a patient-specific clearance map. Planners can evaluate which couch and gantry combinations are physically deliverable before treatment, supporting safer use of non-coplanar beams and longer treatment arcs while reducing the need for physical dry runs. MapRT data can also be incorporated into supported treatment-planning workflows through the MapRT API.
DoseRT™ - Real-Time Radiation Visualization
Combines Cherenkov imaging with SGRT to visualize radiation delivery at the patient surface while simultaneously monitoring patient position. This provides an additional real-time layer of treatment verification that can help identify unexpected delivery patterns, positioning discrepancies, or other clinically relevant deviations during treatment.
Horizon™ Cameras - Advanced SGRT Imaging Platform
Vision RT’s newer wide-field camera platform provides high-resolution optical surface imaging for advanced AlignRT workflows. Horizon cameras feature an 8-megapixel wide field of view and are designed to support expanded surface coverage, advanced treatment geometries, and integration with technologies such as DoseRT.
